A selection of our work can be viewed below and feel free to read our testimonials.
We have selected a few projects as demonstrations of the kind of work we have completed. If you do not see something similar to your required application, please do contact us for further information.
Intranets
Rentokil Intranet
(Dreamweaver, ColdFusion, Access Database)
This intranet allows staff to have a portal of company resources at their finger tips! The site design uses CSS entirely and the site is driven by an Access Database and ColdFusion code.
The simple attractiveness of the application makes it easy for staff to find what they are looking for on their Intranet and it has become a critical information tool in the company.
Online forms and HTML emails allow staff to make expense claims or leave requests online and to receive a weekly newsletter.
Flash Presentations
BLAST has the Flash design capabilities to provide Flash presentations to be included inside the website, as CD Media for customers or both.
This is demonstrated by the slide show style presentation provided to Rentokil Tropical Plants.
HTML Websites
Rentokil Tropical Plants (html, coldfusion)
This site is purposely very different from the other two sites.
This site needed to be "edgy", "modern" and highly attractive visually, but at the same time display their products effectively.
A Flash slide show accompanies the site which has been burnt to CD and distributed to clients.
Again, with the aid of ColdFusion server-side code, the site Enquiry Form allows them to ensure that site enquiries can be directed to their specific branches, according to the state their enquiring customer lives in.
(html, Access Database, ColdFusion)
BLAST designed and built this website using ColdFusion and an Access Database. Our goal was to create a contemporary image that represented the 'next generation' of Rentokil Pest Control and Healthcare. We needed to ensure that their site becomes an important source of easy to find information for Rentokil customers.
Rentokil wanted their site to grab their customer's attention by being visually stimulating and to generate business leads.
We feel that the provocative imagery and clear content layout has achieved this goal.
With the aid of ColdFusion server-side code and an Access Database, the Enquiry Form allows them to ensure that site enquiries can be directed to their relevant branches, according to the postcode/state entered by the customer.
BLAST designed and built this website. Our goal was to create a visually attractive site that was quick to download. Download time is a critical factor since this site is geared to farmers in the country where the majority of them only have dial up connections. We needed to ensure that their site becomes an important source of easy to find information for Rentokil rural customers.
With the aid of ColdFusion server-side code, the Enquiry Form allows them to ensure that site enquiries can be directed to their relevant branches, according to the state entered by the customer.

(html, Coldfusion, Access Database)
This website design had to be glamorous, beautiful and adequately represent the major cosmetics houses that belong to the Association. Since we wanted to have a significant WOW factor, the home page is different to the content pages which need to hold a lot of text information. The visual effect is fantastic and the layout of the content pages means that a lot of information can be easily displayed without affecting the website design layout.
ColdFusion and an Access Database allow Association members to login and view documents for their eyes only! An automatic email setup also allows them to send newsletters to their members on a regular basis.
Note: May 2008: Unfortunately the site has been replaced as the association has been replaced.
Dynamic Websites (database driven applications)
Irrigation Australia Limited (coldfusion, mySQL database, website design)
The Irrigation Association of Australia underwent a merge and a make over and BLAST was with them all the way!
We worked closely with the design company responsible for their new branding by specifying a website design that was attractive and highly functional for its members. BLAST then customised its proprietory content management system to allow IAL staff to manage their website content.
Marine and Coastal Community Network (php, mysql Database)
This site is a visual feast. A clean design and striking underwater photography coupled with easy to use menus make it enticing to the user and a pleasure to navigate.
A PHP content management system (CMS) powered by a mySQL database accompanies it, allowing staff to make the necessary daily updates to content.
Frostbland (ASP.Net, MS SQL Database)
Frostbland needed to portray a visually stimulating and elegant atmosphere, but at the same time illustrate their commercial soundness and market stature.
A beautiful home page with rotating banner images managed to acheive this perfectly. An ASP.Net content management system, powered by a Microsoft SQL Server Database allowed them to manage the brands displayed, capture online requests and upload password protected documents for clients to access.

Imagemakers Ladies Office wear
(ColdFusion, MySQL Database)
BLAST was employed to create a website that allowed users to view their Corporate Wear range online as well as being able to request a Catalogue or Price List.
Download time is a critical factor since this site is hosted in a country where the majority of their customers only have dial up connections. Thus the design is clean cut and image free. CSS drop down menus are used, rather than graphics and Javascript which would slow down the pages further.
Australian Classic Car (ColdFusion, Access Database)
BLAST designed and built this dynamic website using ColdFusion and an Access Database. The site allows subscribers of the Australian Classic Car Magazine to view their magazine content online by simply logging in. It also allows other users to register for free to view a selection of information. Users can add Classic Car Events Online (see Add Events) and view all current events (or search for events) once they have been approved by ACC admin (see View Events).
Users can add their car advertisements online (see Add Car For Sale Advert) as well as ad
ding Classifieds Adverts online. Users can also search for cars listed (see Private Cars For Sale) or can search and view a Classifieds section. Users can subscribe to the Australian Classic Car Magazine online too. Admin Functions have been built to process all these submissions.
